Live-Action Films from Manga and Anime

The other day I was browsing Japan Today, an English Japanese news site, and I found an article that talked about and lists live-action movies that are adapted from manga and anime series and truth be told I am excited about this list. The movies are set to release in Japanese cinemas within two years and hopefully there might be a limited US release for a few. So I included a link below for you to check it out!

Today I tried to bake some chocolate macarons for Thanksgiving and truth be told I failed at it. I am usually great at baking cream puffs and other things, but I might have beaten/whipped the egg whites for too long or mix the batter for too long. But either way they still made some really good cookie snaps.

Should I Vlog or Not?....

I'm not sure on what to do next for my vlog on YouTube, I mean the convention season is kind of over and I don't know what else to do for my next vlog.  I sometimes wonder if I should probably do a tutorial or maybe a guide for say shopping or how to create a Kawaii Coordinate.

It is Nearing the Holidays... and alas that means Lucky Packs

Since Thanksgiving is going to come that more than likely means that there might be some black friday sales and even cyber monday sales. When Christmas comes, Lolita brands will start to announce their New Year Lucky Packs. Hopefully all of you are keeping track of any Lucky Pack news because I am definitely bad on keeping track of those.

Chocolate in my Fruit Bag

I found one chocolate drop in my sakuma fruit bag. I thought I picked up the grape flavor, but after a while, I realized there was a chocolate flavor in my bag. Weird..... but awesome!!!

Halloween is Near!!

       Halloween is just around the corner and I can't wait, yet I don't want it to come! I still don't know what to do! Halloween is on Thursday and I'm not quite sure what to do because my parents say I'm too old to Trick-or-Treat (though barely anyone goes around the neighborhood to collect free candy). So I am probably going to have to either hold a party or go to a haunted house.

Hopefully all who reads this blog has an idea of what you are already going to do.

I'm Back!!! From Anime Banzai!

Sorry that I haven't blogged for awhile, but I was busy with school work and chores so that I don't have to worry about that stuff while I was at Anime Banzai. I had so much fun though! I wore Lolita for two days (my Circus Alice ensemble and my new Infanta Snow White!). Sunday I was in mint and chocolate with my new wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs and I wore my new hair bows from Claires for the occasion!

I went to many panels and events that were fun and exciting and this year I was able to stay for most of the day from sunrise to way after sunset which was exciting! I miss it though :(   because I met so many people and made so many friends. I even met with other Lolitas and we had a meet-up on Saturday at Kim Long Vietnamese.

Next year though, I will be doing the Lolita Fashion Show! So that will definitely be exciting!

I always love to listen to a good Vocaloid song whether I am sad or even happy. When I am sad I listen to sad songs because in a way they cheer me. I love to listen to Miku Truth+Lies. When I am happy I love to listen to Tell Your World.

Quick Picture less Review Post

Hi, this is Beni-chan with a quick post review. I just received my new wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs that I bought on Thursday last week. The wig is the Baby Doll long version in split mint and chocolate. Since I love the short one I ordered earlier this year, I decided to get that one because well.... I love it! I have been waiting and my patience was sweet as chocolate in the end because it was put on clearance. So if you happen to be reading this right now then I suggest that you go and buy yourself a wig off their clearance section.

Day 1 and 2 were both amazing! Saw so much and had so much fun.

I... Am... Ready!!!!

I am ready for Comic Con!!! I have my make-up set out, dress airing out, wig brushed, tights.... that are kawaii, and my shoes cleaned! All I have to do is go there and take pics.

Quick Review Post

The Doll Joint tights fit me!!! I'm 5'9" and I do have long legs. The tights fit perfectly and they give my dark tan legs an airbrushed effect. RTBU Leg Art is the eBay store. The tights are $12.50 with fast and free shipping!

My Items Arrived!!!

Today I just received my Doll Joint Tights in the mail and back on Monday I received my wig. I have yet to open it since I want to wait till I straighten my hair to wear the wig and to see what it looks like on. But I'm amazed at the shipping!

Cosplay Update!

Okay! Today I just checked the status of my tights and wig that I recently purchased on eBay. They are in California already, so it seems I will be receiving them pretty soon.... and that means I will have the most awesome Doll Cosplay for Comic Con!. I bought some contacts (not circle lenses :(  I wish I could buy them) and I bought some makeup that actually creates the porcelain effect on my skin. All that is left is to go look around in my jewelry boxes for the right earrings to wear.

Today I found out that Angelic Pretty, a popular sweet Lolita brand, will be releasing a new series and the print focuses on Chocolate!!!! I love their chocolate print dresses so much! Hopefully I'll be able to save enough money to buy the JSK or skirt in mint along with a headbow and socks!

The Realization that I am Becoming a Lolita!

I just realized today... a few minutes ago... that I am becoming a full on Lolita. Maybe one where I like Victorian etiquette and fashion, but I just spent a few hours looking for lace without realizing it. I like lace... I LOVE LACE!!!! I love petticoats, wearing dresses, having fancy things and even having a tea party would be nice. I also hate wearing Jeans sometimes. Maybe Lolita is the fashion style that is perfect for me :)

Back to School... and what I wore

Today I decided to wear my new Lavender jeans and my mint tank top with a gray jacket. I felt like I should wear something bright and cute for the first day of school so I wore Kawaii. I even put a silver star right at the corner of my eye to top it all off.

Getting Ready for Comic-Con!!!!!... the one in Salt Lake City :(

I am preparing to get my stuff together for the big day!!!! Salt Lake City will have its very first Comic-Con this Sept. 5-7 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Originally it was to be at the South Towne Expo Center, but since they had sold out within a few weeks they decided to move it to a new location so many more people can attend it. I can't wait to go, but since I have school on the 5th and 6th (Thursday and Friday), my parents are allowing my brother and I to go on Friday and Saturday. But yay!!! This means I can go and Cosplay and I can become a Doll. That's why I bought my new Lolita dress! I still need to look for Circle Lenses, a wig, and tights to go with my dress. I won't show the ensemble before the convention, but I will be posting pics that I will take.

Recent Purchase

I just bought today a new blouse from H&M and boots from Forever Young Shoes. The blouse is actually an antique-white color and the collar is so adorable, I decided to use it for my Lolita fashion. The boots are actually a Miku teal color and they look like Dr. Martens, but my feet doesn't look too big with them.

Back To School Fashion and Shopping

I still have no idea about what I should wear for accessories for back to school. I do know that I can wear my split choco-mint wig to school, which is my signature look at school! But I want an accessory that I can wear everyday. Something like earrings or a new necklace. And of course there is the backpack choice of doom!!!!! One thing about back to school is having to choose a backpack to wear throughout the year and since this is my final year of high school, I still can't choose a bag. There are so many cute bags! But I want mine to be one-of-a-kind.

New Lolita Online Store in USA

There is going to be a new Lolita online shop in the USA! They aren't really open yet, but when they open they will be selling TaoBao Lolita Brands from Classical Puppets, Surface Spell, Dear Celine, and many more (but you have to make a comment on a brand on their Facebook Page). They are called Pink Tea Island and they are going to be located in Houston, Texas. They have a Storenvy shop which doesn't seemed to be opened yet, but keep checking! When they do open up, I will purchase from them and I will post a review the moment I get the parcel, but in the meantime, visit their Facebook page to like and share them. Spread the word!

New Seller Review Posted

Beni-chan here! I just posted a new review to my review page (up on the tab labled Beni's Reviews) and this review is about this Ebay store called Little Chili Shop. There was a a quite of few people on the internet saying that they copy photos from other sites and that they make the items to where it isn't even pretty, but they haven't tried it first hand. So I took a chance. Just check the new review and yes I added pictures... a BUNCH of pictures.

Local Finds

Today I went to a new H&M store in Farmington and in the clearance section I found this cute mint chocolate chip colored sweater. I think this sweater will be perfect for my Kawaii Chocolate Mint coordinates that I love to do. The color is a true mint color that isn't too dark or light and there are flecks of brown spots all over.

While at the flea market today I happened to find some tights/leggings for little girls and they had two girls on them wearing Lolita dresses. It was so kawaii!

Kawaii International!

This Saturday on NHK will be a new episode of Kawaii International and it will be "kawaii" packed with "Black and White" fashion! And they have a very special guest coming!... Minori! She is a popular Shironuri in all of Japan.

Pages are about almost done and pretty soon this blog will be up and started! In the meantime Kumi and I will be researching more about Japanese fashion to make sure you hear about the latest trends as it happens.
