Summer is Near!

Today I, Beni-chan, have finally finished with exams in school and now I started to think about summer. I am beginning to plan some fun activities and maybe some Try at Home recipes and craft ideas. But before that goes on, lets talk about International Lolita Day!

International Lolita Day is the first Saturday of June and December every year and I, among many other Lolitas, are excited for this day. It gives us another chance to wear coords that we want to try out to get the summer/autumn season started. I will be taking part in it and hopefully my local community would too. This is a new documentary series on YouTube that I found and it is about the life of a Lolita and it seems very entertaining. Decided to post this video here to share if you have yet to see it.

Wonder Queen Fever

Apparently there is an epidemic coming to Lolitas around the world and it is the Wonder Series from Angelic Pretty. For the past two weeks, all I see on Tumblr is "Wonder Queen series" and there would be reblogs upon reblogs of the release poster and then pictures of each of the individual items like the Jsk and Op. I want to get it now because the print is mature and beautiful, but everywhere I look I just can't find the Jsk I wanted. Hopefully there would be a rerelease of the series because I want it so bad.

I'm Back!!! From Anime Banzai!

Sorry that I haven't blogged for awhile, but I was busy with school work and chores so that I don't have to worry about that stuff while I was at Anime Banzai. I had so much fun though! I wore Lolita for two days (my Circus Alice ensemble and my new Infanta Snow White!). Sunday I was in mint and chocolate with my new wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs and I wore my new hair bows from Claires for the occasion!

I went to many panels and events that were fun and exciting and this year I was able to stay for most of the day from sunrise to way after sunset which was exciting! I miss it though :(   because I met so many people and made so many friends. I even met with other Lolitas and we had a meet-up on Saturday at Kim Long Vietnamese.

Next year though, I will be doing the Lolita Fashion Show! So that will definitely be exciting!

Cosplay Update!

Okay! Today I just checked the status of my tights and wig that I recently purchased on eBay. They are in California already, so it seems I will be receiving them pretty soon.... and that means I will have the most awesome Doll Cosplay for Comic Con!. I bought some contacts (not circle lenses :(  I wish I could buy them) and I bought some makeup that actually creates the porcelain effect on my skin. All that is left is to go look around in my jewelry boxes for the right earrings to wear.

Angelic Pretty's new release

Today I found out that Angelic Pretty, a popular sweet Lolita brand, will be releasing a new series and the print focuses on Chocolate!!!! I love their chocolate print dresses so much! Hopefully I'll be able to save enough money to buy the JSK or skirt in mint along with a headbow and socks!

The Realization that I am Becoming a Lolita!

I just realized today... a few minutes ago... that I am becoming a full on Lolita. Maybe one where I like Victorian etiquette and fashion, but I just spent a few hours looking for lace without realizing it. I like lace... I LOVE LACE!!!! I love petticoats, wearing dresses, having fancy things and even having a tea party would be nice. I also hate wearing Jeans sometimes. Maybe Lolita is the fashion style that is perfect for me :)
