Summer is Near!

Today I, Beni-chan, have finally finished with exams in school and now I started to think about summer. I am beginning to plan some fun activities and maybe some Try at Home recipes and craft ideas. But before that goes on, lets talk about International Lolita Day!

International Lolita Day is the first Saturday of June and December every year and I, among many other Lolitas, are excited for this day. It gives us another chance to wear coords that we want to try out to get the summer/autumn season started. I will be taking part in it and hopefully my local community would too. There is this page on Tumblr that I have been following for the past two weeks now and I wanted to share it here in case anyone wanted to know about any new releases from Angelic Pretty. Angelic Pretty Release is the blog (and yes the name is a clickable link) and they will post pictures of any upcoming releases and they will post when to expect the series to be in stock online.

This is a new documentary series on YouTube that I found and it is about the life of a Lolita and it seems very entertaining. Decided to post this video here to share if you have yet to see it.

Beni-chan's Birthday Celebration

I went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory at the City Creek Centre and I also went ice skating. I happened to see comedian/actor Tracy Morgan at the Cheesecake Factory.
I had so much fun, thanks to my wonderful family!

Wonder Queen Fever

Apparently there is an epidemic coming to Lolitas around the world and it is the Wonder Series from Angelic Pretty. For the past two weeks, all I see on Tumblr is "Wonder Queen series" and there would be reblogs upon reblogs of the release poster and then pictures of each of the individual items like the Jsk and Op. I want to get it now because the print is mature and beautiful, but everywhere I look I just can't find the Jsk I wanted. Hopefully there would be a rerelease of the series because I want it so bad.

Angelic Pretty Haul!!!

Beni-chan here! For Christmas I received Angelic Pretty's Musée du Chocolat jsk, over knee, tights, and headdress as part of my gift. I even decided to get the Loyalty over knee socks in ivory and brown because I couldn't decide on which one to get.

I'm Back!!! From Anime Banzai!

Sorry that I haven't blogged for awhile, but I was busy with school work and chores so that I don't have to worry about that stuff while I was at Anime Banzai. I had so much fun though! I wore Lolita for two days (my Circus Alice ensemble and my new Infanta Snow White!). Sunday I was in mint and chocolate with my new wig from Gothic Lolita Wigs and I wore my new hair bows from Claires for the occasion!

I went to many panels and events that were fun and exciting and this year I was able to stay for most of the day from sunrise to way after sunset which was exciting! I miss it though :(   because I met so many people and made so many friends. I even met with other Lolitas and we had a meet-up on Saturday at Kim Long Vietnamese.

Next year though, I will be doing the Lolita Fashion Show! So that will definitely be exciting!

Quick Review Post

The Doll Joint tights fit me!!! I'm 5'9" and I do have long legs. The tights fit perfectly and they give my dark tan legs an airbrushed effect. RTBU Leg Art is the eBay store. The tights are $12.50 with fast and free shipping!

Cosplay Update!

Okay! Today I just checked the status of my tights and wig that I recently purchased on eBay. They are in California already, so it seems I will be receiving them pretty soon.... and that means I will have the most awesome Doll Cosplay for Comic Con!. I bought some contacts (not circle lenses :(  I wish I could buy them) and I bought some makeup that actually creates the porcelain effect on my skin. All that is left is to go look around in my jewelry boxes for the right earrings to wear.

Angelic Pretty's new release

Today I found out that Angelic Pretty, a popular sweet Lolita brand, will be releasing a new series and the print focuses on Chocolate!!!! I love their chocolate print dresses so much! Hopefully I'll be able to save enough money to buy the JSK or skirt in mint along with a headbow and socks!

The Realization that I am Becoming a Lolita!

I just realized today... a few minutes ago... that I am becoming a full on Lolita. Maybe one where I like Victorian etiquette and fashion, but I just spent a few hours looking for lace without realizing it. I like lace... I LOVE LACE!!!! I love petticoats, wearing dresses, having fancy things and even having a tea party would be nice. I also hate wearing Jeans sometimes. Maybe Lolita is the fashion style that is perfect for me :)

Getting Ready for Comic-Con!!!!!... the one in Salt Lake City :(

I am preparing to get my stuff together for the big day!!!! Salt Lake City will have its very first Comic-Con this Sept. 5-7 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Originally it was to be at the South Towne Expo Center, but since they had sold out within a few weeks they decided to move it to a new location so many more people can attend it. I can't wait to go, but since I have school on the 5th and 6th (Thursday and Friday), my parents are allowing my brother and I to go on Friday and Saturday. But yay!!! This means I can go and Cosplay and I can become a Doll. That's why I bought my new Lolita dress! I still need to look for Circle Lenses, a wig, and tights to go with my dress. I won't show the ensemble before the convention, but I will be posting pics that I will take.

Recent Purchase

I just bought today a new blouse from H&M and boots from Forever Young Shoes. The blouse is actually an antique-white color and the collar is so adorable, I decided to use it for my Lolita fashion. The boots are actually a Miku teal color and they look like Dr. Martens, but my feet doesn't look too big with them.

New Lolita Online Store in USA

There is going to be a new Lolita online shop in the USA! They aren't really open yet, but when they open they will be selling TaoBao Lolita Brands from Classical Puppets, Surface Spell, Dear Celine, and many more (but you have to make a comment on a brand on their Facebook Page). They are called Pink Tea Island and they are going to be located in Houston, Texas. They have a Storenvy shop which doesn't seemed to be opened yet, but keep checking! When they do open up, I will purchase from them and I will post a review the moment I get the parcel, but in the meantime, visit their Facebook page to like and share them. Spread the word!

New Seller Review Posted

Beni-chan here! I just posted a new review to my review page (up on the tab labled Beni's Reviews) and this review is about this Ebay store called Little Chili Shop. There was a a quite of few people on the internet saying that they copy photos from other sites and that they make the items to where it isn't even pretty, but they haven't tried it first hand. So I took a chance. Just check the new review and yes I added pictures... a BUNCH of pictures.
